Pedro's Tacos began in San Clemente, in 1986, as Orange County's first fish taco stand. Surfers and locals alike were quick to discover the unique flavor of Pedro's famous fish taco and the low prices. After a day of surfing Trestles, one could find enough change around the floorboards of their cars and swing by the South drive-thru location for a tasty taco or a hefty burrito.
 
San Clemente High School students would leave campus at lunchtime (back when they could) and flock to Pedro's for bean and cheese burritos or a quesadilla, each under a dollar. Those Tritons that had a little more cash, would order the Carne Asada Burrito, with it's unique marinated steak flavors.
 
In 1996, Pedro's North opened it's drive-thru to serve those in the downtown area. Fallbrook Pedro's followed in 2004 with a 1950's drive-in. Our newest location is in Oceanside with a large dining room and surf inspired decor.
 
Pedro's maintains it's high quality food at low prices, for twenty-five years, by being family owned, not a franchise. Our employees are loyal, hard-working and some have been with us for over twenty years. Many thanks to our managers, cashiers and cooks, all of whom are dedicated to provide our long time customers with great food!
